Keveri H1: The First MultiPurpose Charcoal Oven

Keveri H1: The First MultiPurpose Charcoal Oven

What is the Keveri H1? It is a multipurpose charcoal oven created by Keveri for backyard cooking. Using a single firebox, it lets you smoke, grill, bake, sear at high heat, and make pizza in one appliance.

The Keveri H1 operates across a temperature range of 210°F to 840°F, bringing together functions that would normally require a charcoal grill, smoker, and oven. It does this through 5 Grill Modes: Low & Slow, Classic, Baker, Fast Grill, and Pizza, so you can choose how you want to cook depending on the food and technique.

Keveri H1

The Keveri H1 started with a simple idea: bring the experience of cooking with fire into the backyard in one appliance, without forcing you to choose between smoking, grilling, baking, or making pizza.

That's why Keveri H1 it's the first multipurpose charcoal oven. It is not simply a grill with extra features. The H1 was designed from the ground up with an insulated double-wall chamber and built to operate across 5 different Grill Modes.

Who is the Keveri H1 built for?

The Keveri H1 is designed for people who regularly cook and entertain in their backyard or patio and want the flexibility to use different cooking techniques without switching appliances.

That includes families who cook outdoors on weekends, people who already own a traditional grill but want to add smoking or fire-powered baking, and home cooks who enjoy experimenting with different recipes — from beef ribs cooked for hours in Low & Slow to pizza ready in under three minutes — all in the same oven.

The H1 is not designed primarily for travel or very small outdoor spaces. Because it is a larger oven intended to sit on its cart or be incorporated into an outdoor kitchen, the portable option in the Keveri lineup is the Keveri H Mini.

If you are looking for an outdoor cooking setup with enough capacity to cook for a larger group and space to prepare multiple foods at once, the Keveri H1 is designed for that.

Complete Keveri H1 Specs

The Keveri H1 comes in two exterior options: powder-coated steel in Black Truffle or Medium Rare, and 304 stainless steel in the Inox version.

Both versions share the same internal construction, airflow system, and 5 Grill Modes.

Dimensions and Weight

The Keveri H1 measures:

  • 22 in x 26 x 60 in (both include Chimney height) with cart.
  • 22 in x 26 in x  34 in without the cart
  • 154 lb
  • 172 lb packaged for shipping

If the H1 is installed without its cart, the supporting surface should be able to hold more than 330 lb. The oven should always be moved by two people.

Materials: Why 304 Stainless Steel Matters

Black Truffle / Medium Rare:
The interior cooking chamber is made from 304 grade stainless steel, while the exterior is galvanized steel finished with an electrostatic powder coating.

Inox:
The interior and exterior are made from 304 stainless steel.

304 stainless steel is commonly used in professional kitchens because of its resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.

In the Keveri H1, it is used in the interior cooking chamber and stainless steel grates across both versions. Combined with the oven's insulated double-wall construction, it helps the H1 maintain stable temperatures across Grill Modes that reach up to 840°F.

Cooking Surface and Capacity

The Keveri H1 includes two 15 ½ “ x 20 stainless steel cooking racks.

A third rack can be added when more cooking capacity is needed.

In practice, that means you can use one level for meat, another for bread, and a third for vegetables in the same oven — especially useful when cooking for family or hosting friends.

Airflow System and Temperature Control

The Keveri H1 controls temperature through two elements that work together:

The bottom vent controls how much oxygen reaches the fire and is responsible for larger changes in temperature.

The chimney, located at the top, controls airflow leaving the oven and allows for finer temperature adjustments.

The principle is simple: the more open the air intake and chimney are, the more airflow enters the system and the more the temperature tends to rise.

The H1 also uses an insulated double-wall chamber to help maintain a stable internal temperature, a removable firebox for safe access to the charcoal, and a built-in thermometer so you can monitor the cook without repeatedly opening the doors.

The Keveri H1 is designed to use up to 80% less charcoal than conventional charcoal grills and ovens, which is particularly useful during long Low & Slow cooking sessions.

The 5 Keveri H1 Grill Modes

The Keveri H1 has 5 Grill Modes: Low & Slow, Classic, Baker, Fast Grill, and Pizza.

Each Grill Mode works within a different temperature range, from the low and steady heat of a smoker to the high temperatures of a pizza oven. This allows one charcoal oven to work as a smoker, charcoal grill, wood-fired-style oven, high-temperature grill, and pizza oven.

For detailed instructions on how to light and cook in each mode, visit the Keveri Masterclass.

Grill Mode Temperature Range Best For
Low & Slow 210°F–270°F Smoking and long, slow, even cooks
Classic 320°F–390°F Traditional charcoal grilling and wood-fired-oven-style cooking
Baker 450°F–520°F Fire-powered baking: breads, pies, pastries, and empanadas
Fast Grill 630°F–720°F High-temperature cooking for steaks, fish, and seafood
Pizza 750°F–840°F Italian-style stone-baked pizza, ready in under 3 minutes

Why choose a multipurpose charcoal oven like the Keveri H1?

One of the main advantages of the Keveri H1 is the combination of versatility, cooking capacity, and temperature control in one appliance.

Versatility

Its 5 Grill Modes — Low & Slow, Classic, Baker, Fast Grill, and Pizza — cover cooking techniques that would normally require several different outdoor appliances.

In practice, you can spend one day smoking pulled lamb for hours in Low & Slow and another making Neapolitan-style pizza at more than 750°F, without switching appliances.

Cooking capacity

One grill rack has 310 square inches capacity, with the option to add a third, let you take advantage of multiple cooking levels and prepare several foods at once.

For example, you can cook steak and vegetables during the same Classic Mode session, then change the oven setup and temperature to bake a dessert in Baker Mode.

Temperature stability

The 304 stainless steel interior chamber and insulated double-wall construction help maintain consistent temperatures throughout the cook.

That lets the H1 handle very different cooking styles, from long sessions at low temperatures to quick, high-heat cooks such as Fast Grill short ribs finished in just a few minutes.

The Keveri H1 was designed in Chile

The Keveri H1 was designed in Chile by Antonio Montes, inspired by the Patagonian tradition of cooking with fire.

It was Keveri's first product, and its design — including a 304 stainless steel interior chamber, insulated double-wall construction, and 5 Grill Modes — is the result of years spent developing an idea that began in a Chilean backyard.

The goal was to create one outdoor cooking appliance that gave home cooks the freedom to experiment with fire in different ways, without being limited to a single technique.
