Keveri H1

Received my Keveri this week, did a bacon wrapped meatloaf while seasoning the H1, turned out great. Did a pork shoulder next and found while not as set it and forget as a pellet grill, much easier to maintain than the offsets I have had for temperature control. Low and slow was able to maintain the cook for 13 hours, which honestly I was surprised by. Great smoker, I look forward to using the other methods.

These guys jumped through hoops to get my H1 delivered before Thanksgiving. Then, first try, the H1 delivered a perfect spatchcocked Turkey, and gravy! Now my wife wants me to do all the cooking!

OK here goes.
A friend has one and I watched him prepare a meal and thought “I need one of those”

The H1 with assorted goodies (roof thing, charcoal, tools, cover) arrived on my driveway and I put it on a Dolly to take it to its new home on my back patio. Assembly was straightforward and exactly followed the methods in the video. Packing material was mostly cardboard with little foam. I approve, the world doesn’t need more useless foam.

Fired the H1 up and retreated indoors to prep food, and prep palate with a glass of wine. Firing the Keveri up following the apparently me proof instructions was very straightforward. Threw some carrots on the top shelf in cast iron to roast while things were heating up… took about exactly 40 minutes to get to 660f in order to cook a nice prime rib eye. Whoa… carrots 🥕 fully cooked shockingly fast on the top shelf. Did the tomatoes in cast iron, a little Mexican street corn with Humboldt fog cheese crumbled in it, and banged out a batch of Chimichurri as directed to go with the steak. Rib eye had a nice seared exterior and took almost exactly 5 minutes as the video suggested.

First impression is… this thing is awesome. I will probably stay close to it while cooking and open it briefly to keep an eye on proceedings … and to move meat around for marking and fire avoidance. Lots of options for indirect heat, smoke generation, and lower heat longer cook times to play with going forward. But for day one I thought I’d let the thing rip, and it did not disappoint.

Roof top deal is very useful with cast iron pans going in and out.

Build quality is excellent.

I've only used it 4 times but I love it. Moved and couldn't take my old brick oven with us because of its size. This is perfect for fast cooking steaks fish and veggies or slow cooking beed ribs
I can do a complete meal in this thing with no problem

I couldn't be happier with my Keveri H1. I spent a good amount of time comparing brands and styles of charcoal grills/smokers and decided on the Keveri H1 because of the reviews, the Master Classes, and the price. My first cook was a beer can chicken and it was perfect. I arranged the briquetts and 3 chunks of apple wood according to the Master Class video for the low and slow mode and The H1 maintained a constant temperature of 250 Degrees for 2 hours. I adjusted the settings to 3/3 for the last 45 minutes and it raised the temperature to 325 and it held steady.
I've owned a Traeger and a Memphis pellet smoker neither of which cooked as well as the H1. The simplicity of the H1 is outstanding. The construction is solid and I like the small footprint. When I was done with my 1st cook I checked the ash pan and all that was left was about 1/4 cup of white ash. The H1 is truly an efficient cooker.
